Friars Carse is the perfect choice for an intimate wedding celebration inside the main house or for larger weddings in our fully heated marquee on the lawn adjacent to the hotel.

Friars Carse is licensed for Civil Marriage, Civil Partnership, and Naming Ceremonies. You have the choice of using the oak-panelled Lounge, a truly atmospheric location with an open fireplace and dark wood panelling seating for up to 80 guests, or the Nith Room, overlooking the lawn towards the River Nith for ceremonies with up to 18 guests. If the weather is fine, you may choose to have your ceremony take place by the River Nith.
