Food
One choice per course may be selected, plus a choice for Vegetarians other dietary requests (charged at the same rate as adult menu), Children (free of charge if 3 years and under, charged at half adult price over 3 years old) unless choosing from children menu.

We would ask you that you choose one set meal for all the children.

We can advise you on the quantity and type of your Buffet, and what time to serve it.
We offer a choice from a list of finger food, such as Freshly Prepared Sandwich Selection, Spinach and feta goujons, Spring Rolls, Hot Roasted Chicken Drumsticks, Lamb Samosas, Pizza Slices, BBQ Chicken Wings etc to design your own menu.
- 6 choices can be made for £8.50 per portion, 9 choices for £12.50 and 12 choices for £15.50.
We also offer Bacon Butties as an alternative. Please refer to the brochure for full information.
Drinks
Drinks for your daytime function can be packaged per person, and tailored to your individual requirements.
You can choose to order drinks by the glass and bottle from the hotel wine list, rather than use a package.
We do not allow for corkage.

Terms of Booking:
Minimum numbers of 75 apply to all wedding parties taken on Saturday’s. Minimum Numbers will apply to all chargeable meals (i.e. all persons 4 years of age +)
Should your numbers fall below these numbers, the shortfall will be charged at your adult menu price.
All prices include VAT @ 17.5%.
All prices listed in the brochure are correct at time of publication, and will be honoured, except where stated. This particularly applies to Drinks Packages and By the Glass and the Wine List, which will be confirmed by March of each year.
Last orders at the Bar are taken at 11pm for non-residents of the hotel, however a Licence Extension may be applied for to serve at the bar and continue your entertainment until 12 midnight latest. An application letter is sent with the confirmation of your wedding deposit to enable you to apply to the hotel.
An administrative charge of £25 will be made, and no refund is given for any licences being refused.
Generally, the hotel does not have a problem with obtaining these extensions on your behalf.
Should you wish to arrange a Firework display for your party, please consult with the wedding co-ordinator, to discuss a suitable site and time (no later than 10.30pm to start).
All Accounts are issued 14 days prior and requested for payment 7 days prior. Cancellations are not refundable beyond 14 days prior.
The hotel accepts Credit / Debit Cards of all types (except Diners Club and American Express)
Cheques are made payable to ‘Friars Carse Hotel’.
Cancellation of your total wedding booking will result in loss of your deposit.
Cancellation of your wedding between 3 - 6 months prior to your date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the estimated total bill.
Cancellation of your wedding at 3 months or less prior to your date will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the estimated total bill.
